Lencare traces its origins back to the year 1946, when Lenlok Hales was founded by Alfred Roy Hales.

In 2006, Davcor Group took control of Lenlok assets to create Lencare. Since that acquisition, Lencare has evolved into a major distributor of products that relate to keeping people in their homes for longer. Our range of products are ideal in enabling clients, whether aged or disabled, to continue to live a dignified life in their own homes, for as long as they possibly can.

Lencare is a wholesale distributor of products such as standard grab rails but with variations including offset, sliding, and drop down rails. Other rail variations include a 32mm modular design grab rail system for bathroom usage, a 32mm modular ramp rail design selection and a 38mm modular rail system for steps, landings and ramps. Other products include hand held showers, shower tracks, shower curtains, folding shower seats, toilet backrests, threshold ramps and key boxes. Our range is ever-evolving, with our new products emanating from our close ties to industry participants, who are offering their ideas for us to manufacture and bring to the market.

One most recent creation is the Ritefit Rail 38mm modular selection. The introduction of this 38mm range of railing products offers our customers the flexibility of being able to create a rail system with both vertical and horizontal components. It’s an ideal structure for external and internal steps, rails, and ramps. Being modular, it has the ability to be created and adjusted on site. The size of 38mm makes it a welcome addition for a robust product with matching good looks in a residential environment.

Our focus is firmly fixed on our trade accounts and existing customers. Lencare’s high quality staff members have years of industry experience, as well as extensive product knowledge.

As many of our specialised products are difficult to find within the retail industry, Lencare has created an online retail option, where customers can select, pay for and have their products delivered to their premises.
